I dedicate much of my work to projects that recognise our collective responsibility to restore and protect the planet.
Whether that means producing climate-content, supporting charities and NGOs internationally, or helping commercial production reduce its footprint on the ground, offering guidance on technical processes and editorial practices that reduce environmental impact.
With the BBC, I completed a dissertation on 'Sustainability in Broadcast', designing media facilities that are more planet friendly. I continue to work with the BBC to evaluate the environmental impact of media and broadcast production, as well as developing solutions to reduce it.
I’ve also studied the intersection of media and climate communication at Umeå University through a course in Media, Communication, and Sustainable Development. The programme explores effective approaches to communicating sustainability and fostering positive environmental change.

Environmental Impact of Cloud Computing
Kelly sits down with Sophia Willows, to unpack the environmental cost of cloud computing and the internet in this special episode of The Core. From data centre energy use to sustainable tech solutions, explore how the industry is working to shrink its carbon footprint—and how developers can make a difference.
I am proud to provide communication, creative and technical production support to charities and NGOs working across environmental and philanthropic fields internationally.
